This Compliance & Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) outlines the rules, responsibilities, and restrictions governing the use of UnifiedBridge’s services, including but not limited to Virtual Numbers, SIP Trunking, Cloud PBX, P2P Messaging, and Wholesale VoIP. It applies to all users, partners, and affiliates accessing UnifiedBridge’s platform, website, or APIs.
2. General Compliance Obligations
- Comply with all applicable telecommunications regulations in your jurisdiction.
- Respect data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy frameworks.
- Follow anti-spam and messaging laws such as CAN-SPAM and TRAI guidelines.
- Observe export control and sanctions laws, including OFAC and EU restrictions.
UnifiedBridge reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for any user found in violation of these obligations.
3. Acceptable Use Guidelines
3.1 Illegal or Harmful Activities
- No fraud, phishing, or identity theft.
- No unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or threatening content.
- No promotion of violence, hate speech, or discrimination.
3.2 Messaging Restrictions
- No unsolicited bulk messages or spam via SMS or voice.
- No outbound A2P SMS campaigns (not supported).
- No misrepresentation of sender identity or caller ID spoofing.
3.3 Network Abuse
- No bypassing usage limits or billing mechanisms.
- No interference with UnifiedBridge’s infrastructure.
- No abuse of automated scripts or bots.
3.4 Intellectual Property Violations
- No infringement of copyrights, trademarks, or proprietary technologies.
- No unauthorized use of UnifiedBridge branding.
4. Service-Specific Restrictions
4.1 Virtual Numbers
- Must comply with local numbering regulations.
- May not be resold or reassigned without approval.
- Inbound voice and P2P SMS only; outbound A2P SMS prohibited.
4.2 SIP Trunking & Cloud PBX
- Emergency calling must be configured per local laws.
- PSTN replacement must meet carrier-grade standards.
4.3 Integrations & APIs
- API keys must remain confidential.
- Abuse of rate limits or unauthorized access will result in revocation.
5. Enforcement and Reporting
UnifiedBridge may monitor usage to ensure compliance. Violations may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of services.
- Legal action or referral to authorities.
- Forfeiture of prepaid balances or credits.
